I also provide companionship, social engagement, and medical advocacy, which includes transportation to appointments and professional note-taking.
How much do your services cost?
Rates are tailored specifically to each client’s individual needs. My fees are designed to be competitive and in line with other local care services and companies.
Is there a minimum time requirement for visits?
Yes, there is a minimum of two hours per appointment to ensure that all tasks, such as meal prep or personal care, are completed thoroughly and without rush.
Do you have experience with specialized medical conditions?
Yes. I have over 30 years of experience in the industry, including specialized care for clients living with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s.
Can you accommodate specific dietary or cultural food preferences?
Absolutely. As a professional chef with over 30 years of experience, I use “cultured cooking” methods. This means I can create specific menus for a wide variety of specialized cultural and dietary requirements.
Are you insured and licensed to work in private homes?
Yes. For your peace of mind, I am fully bonded and have a current criminal record check. I am also covered by WorkSafeBC, carry business insurance, and maintain extended insurance specifically for entering and working in clients’ homes.
Who do you provide services for?
“I offer dedicated home support for couples and female clients. For male clients, I provide care services within a supported environment where a family member or co-habitant is present.”How do you ensure the home environment is safe? I conduct full safety checks on every client’s residence to ensure the environment is up to standard and safe for the senior to reside in.
